Frequently Asked
Questions

What can I expect on my first
visit?
Typically on your first visit you will fill out a complete
health history detailing past injuries, problems, and
present symptoms. Your doctor will then review with you:
your health history and present body conditions. Your
chiropractor will explain to you what he is going to do and
how it will feel. Then you will undergo a complete exam,
consisting of: various testing procedures to help determine
what care you will receive. These findings will be
discussed with you and a treatment plan will be outlined.
What does it
feel like to get adjusted?
Chiropractic patients are very comfortable and relaxed
while getting adjusted. An adjustment should not be
painful.
All all
patients adjusted the same way?
No. Your chiropractor will take your case history and
perform specific tests to decide what types of adjustments
and treatments should be used. There are numerous
techniques within the field of Chiropractic health care.
Does it hurt
to get adjusted?
No. Chiropractic adjustments feel great! When you allow the
adjustment to be properly accomplished, there is a
reduction in stress and tension on your neuromskuloskeletal
system. Most patients like to be adjusted even when they
are pain-free, because it makes them feel better and
because of the prevention benefits it provides.
Can
Chiropractic care help me even if I have no present
symptoms?
Yes. Chiropractic care is beneficial to every man, woman,
and child. Chiropractic care is preventative health care,
which means you are treated to stay healthy!

and presentations. Most uncomplicated cases that come to
